Why We Chose Odoo: An ERP for Businesses That Actually Build Things

Not every business fits in a SaaS checkbox. Some need an ERP that can be shaped to how they actually work.
After extensive evaluation, we standardized our ERP consulting practice on Odoo. Not because it's the trendiest option — but because it strikes the right balance between out-of-the-box functionality and deep customizability.
What Makes Odoo Different
Integrated by design. Sales, inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, accounting, CRM, and e-commerce all share one database. When a sales order is confirmed, inventory is reserved, a manufacturing order can be triggered, and the accountant sees the revenue recognition — all automatically.
Open source core. The Community Edition is fully open source. We can read every line of code, understand exactly how the system works, and customize it when the standard behavior doesn't fit.
Python all the way down. Odoo is built in Python with a PostgreSQL database. Any competent developer can work on it. No proprietary programming language or specialized certified consultants required.
Modular architecture. Start with what you need. Add modules as your requirements grow. You don't have to buy and implement everything at once.
Our client portal at odoo.ledoweb.com is a living example — powered by the same Odoo platform we implement for clients.
