Our team recently went on a field trip to Pittsburgh. We were able to tour three different places during this outing.
Our first stop was the Archolab at Carnegie Mellon University. Assistant Professor Joshua Bard was kind enough to show our group his robots and how they operate.

Our second stop was TechShop, located on Bakery Square Boulevard. TechShop is a chain of member-based workshops that lets people of all skill levels come in and use industrial tools, equipment and software to build their own projects. Their Website can be viewed at: http://www.techshop.ws/pittsburgh.html

The final location of our tour was PieceMaker Technologies, where Tyler Leatherwood was kind enough to show us the 3D printers. This is a company that lets you create and customize your own in-store products with 3D printing. You can Learn more about them at www.piecemaker.com, or find them on social media!
